Everton vs. Chelsea: Premier League – Match Preview

Chelsea can take a giant step towards the Premier League title when they travel to Goodison Park on Sunday.

Everton were held away at West Ham last weekend in a game of very few chances.

The draw means they are almost certain to finish in seventh in the Premier League this term.

Chelsea maintained their four point advantage at the top thanks to a 4-2 win at home to Southampton in the week.

After six games without a goal, Diego Costa scored twice in a comfortable win for the hosts.

Team news
Everton are likely to name a similar XI to the side that drew with West Ham United.

They once again have numerous long-term absentees, including Yannick Bolasie, Seamus Coleman and Ramiro Funes Mori.

Chelsea have no such issues and should have a fully fit squad available to them.

Willian could start ahead of Pedro, whilst Nemanja Matic and Cesc Fabregas are battling it out to start alongside N’Golo Kante.

Expected starting XI’s
Everton (4-3-3): Stekelenberg; Holgate, Jagielka, Williams, Baines; Gueye, Schneiderlin, Davies; Barkley, Lukaku, Mirallas
Chelsea (3-4-3): Courtois; Azpilicueta, Luiz, Cahill; Moses, Kante, Fabregas, Alonso; Willian, Costa, Hazard
