Arsenal (1) vs. (5) Bayern Munich: Champions League Last 16 Second Leg – Match Preview

Arsenal require a miracle to overturn their first leg Champions League deficit against Bayern Munich.

Munich thrashed the Gunners 5-1 in the Alianz Arena three weeks ago, scoring four in the second half.

Arsenal were beaten away at Liverpool on the weekend, losing 3-1 at Anfield which has severely dented their top four hopes.

Alexis Sanchez was dropped to the bench and despite an improved display when he was introduced at the break, it was too late for the Gunners.

Bayern Munich eased to a 3-0 success away at Cologne, taking a giant step towards the Bundesliga title.

Javier Martinez opened the scoring as Munich stretched their advantage to seven points at the top.
