Stoke City were formed in 1863 and are the oldest Premier League club, second in the football league (and the world) to Notts County.
The club have never won England’s top flight despite its long history and Stoke’s only silverware to date is the League Cup which they won in 1972.
Their League Cup success came against Chelsea thanks to a late winner from George Eastham.
Their only F.A Cup final appearance came in the 2010/11 campaign where they lost to Manchester City.
The subsequent year saw their best ever run in Europe where they progressed to the last 32 of the Europa League before losing to Valencia.
