Chelsea was formed in 1905 and have played at Stamford Bridge ever since their establishment.
The club’s most dominant period is a recent one, winning four of their five league titles since 2004. Chelsea have also won four of the last seven F.A Cups, including three in a four year spell.
With six league titles and seven F.A Cups to their name, Chelsea are one of England’s most successful clubs, with the majority of their silverware won since Roman Abramovich brought the club in 2003.
During Jose Mourinho’s first spell with the club, Chelsea broke many Premier League records including: Fewest goals conceded in a League season (15 in 38 games), Most clean sheets in a season (24 in 38 games) and Most points won in a season (95 from 38 games).
The greatest night in the club’s history came on the 19th May 2012 when Roberto Di Matteo led Chelsea to Champions glory via a penalty shoot-out win over Bayern Munich. Chelsea also have a Europa League, UEFA Super Cup and two Cup Winners Cup’s to their name.
Antonio Conte guided the club to the league title in his first season in charge; however the second under the Italian was more challenging.
