Cardiff City have signed Scott Malone from Millwall and are close to signing Alex Revell.
Malone has signed a two and a half year contract at Cardiff, after the club had an offer accepted for the full-back.
Malone told Cardiff’s official website: “With my contract soon to expire at Millwall, I was looking for a new challenge; a few clubs were interested, but when I heard Cardiff City was one of them it was an easy decision to make.
“The manager didn’t need to persuade me at all into making this decision, I wanted to come and be part of his plans. I’m very happy to be here and eager to get started.”
After joining Millwall in 2012 from Wolves, Malone was a regular at the New Den, however has joined their Championship rivals.
Revell looks set to join Malone at Cardiff, after the club agreed a deal with Rotherham United for the striker.
Cardiff manager Russell Slade has previously worked with Revell at both Brighton and Leyton Orient.
Revell’s contract at Rotherham expires at the end of the season and the club opted to accept a fee for the forward, rather than lose him on a free transfer six months later.
